Subscriber counts were read from each channel page in the browser (record). Cadence is uploads divided by the date span of the fetched uploads, so it is an estimate. Median views per subscriber (est.): Daddy Got Coffee 0.43, Lance Hedrick 0.28, James Hoffmann 0.27, Alternative Brewing 0.20, Tom's Coffee Corner 0.12. Social Blade or Podchaser were not used to confirm trends. I did not check whether any recent upload was a Short, so cadence may include them.

How the winners differ and what to make next

Winners beat the median by 2.5x to 6.2x, and in this small sample the biggest hits at three of the five channels were not espresso-machine videos: Hedrick's coffee-storage video, Hoffmann's Americano video and Daddy Got Coffee's Nespresso video. The espresso-specific winners are gear-led: Fellow Opus 2 grinder reviews drew 233,115 views for Hedrick and 97,079 for Alternative Brewing, the latter 6.2x its channel median.
