Orvis Mini Sling Pack, $98. The one "real gear" gift near the top of the budget. It suits an angler who already owns rods and waders.
Miles Davis, Kind of Blue (Corrected Speed 2LP, Analogue Productions), $65.00 and listed In Stock. The best-known jazz album, in an audiophile pressing. This only works if Dad owns a turntable (I could not verify that).
John Coltrane, Blue Train (Tone Poet Series), $47.00, paired with the Orvis Essentials Tool Kit at $49.95. Together that is about $97 and covers both hobbies in one parcel. The pairing and the total are my arithmetic, not a retailer bundle.

Who This Is For

Dad is 60 and likes fly fishing and jazz. That is all I was given. I assumed the following, and none of it is confirmed:

Budget: $50 to $100 is a ceiling per gift. I included a few items under $50 because they work as add-ons.
Region and currency: United States, USD, because the input gave no location.
Gear he owns: I assumed a working angler who already has rods, reels and waders. I therefore avoided those and chose small, replaceable gear and music.

I found no bookable experience (jazz club tickets, a guided trip, a class) with a verified price inside $50 to $100. Item 7 is the closest, and it is a store gift card, not a club or concert booking.

1. Orvis Mini Sling Pack ($98).

Why it fits: Orvis describes it as a compact fly fishing kit. It carries the essentials on short trips.
Caveats: The page I read showed color "Dark Vicuna" selected, and an optional "Loaded Vest/Pack Accessory Kit" add-on at +$200 that would break the budget. Other colors and stock were not checked. The Orvis page shows 4.5 stars from 83 reviews, which is the retailer's own rating and the best review evidence in this list. Orvis states a 100% satisfaction guarantee, which I read on the tool kit page and assume applies sitewide (unverified).

2. Kind of Blue, Corrected Speed 2LP ($65.00).

Why it fits: Kind of Blue is described by the seller as the top-selling jazz album of all time. This edition is a 180-gram double LP, with side 1 speed-corrected for a recording-motor error that made the first three tracks a quarter-tone sharp. Side 4 holds an alternate take at 45 RPM.
Reviews: The page shows 5.00 from one customer rating. It also quotes AnalogPlanet's Mark Smotroff (Music 11/11, Sound 10/11). That quote is the seller's own selection, so treat it as marketing-adjacent.
Caveats: Needs a turntable. The same listing mentions a limited blue vinyl version and other pressings, so match "AAPJ 8163" (the product number on the page) to avoid a look-alike. Another retailer's listing for the 180-gram import, and the Miles Davis official store listing, differ. The official store listing was sold out when I checked (its displayed price varied by region), so it is not a substitute.

3. Blue Train, Tone Poet Series ($47.00).

Why it fits: Tone Poet is Blue Note's audiophile reissue line, and Blue Train is a core Coltrane album. The Blue Note announcement dated 27 July 2022 describes the release.
Caveats: The shop page says the release date was 16 September 2022. I did not verify current stock beyond an "Add to cart" button being present. Needs a turntable. The Blue Note materials describe both a mono 1-LP and a 2-LP stereo edition, so confirm which pressing the listing is before buying.

4. Orvis Essentials Tool Kit ($49.95).

Why it fits: It bundles a nipper, forceps and zinger. The page says the nipper and forceps are surgical-grade plasma-coated stainless steel and the zinger has a 20-inch retractable cable.
Caveats: Anglers often own these already. Check his vest first if you can. No reviews on the page.

5. The Jazz Standards (Ted Gioia, $39.95).

Why it fits: A reference book on the repertoire that works whether or not he plays an instrument or owns a turntable.
Caveats: The price shown was from an independent bookstore. I did not confirm stock. Bookshop.org carried a different jazz title, Ward and Burns's Jazz, at $46.60 but on backorder, which I rejected for that reason.

6. A River Runs Through It (hardcover, $32.62).

Why it fits: The classic fly-fishing story, in an illustrated hardcover. It is cheap enough to pair with item 4 or item 8.
Caveats: Bookshop.org also listed audiobook CDs, which were on backorder. Make sure you pick the hardcover edition. He may already own it, since it is a very common gift.

7. Blue Note Store digital gift card ($25 to $200).

Why it fits: Lets him pick his own records. Set amounts include $50, $75 and $100.
Caveats: This is for the record label's online store, not for the Blue Note jazz club. Redemption terms and expiry were not on the page I read. A separate venue gift card exists at Giftly for Blue Note New York but I did not open it, so I list it only as a lead.

8 and 9. Add-ons under $50. The Ultralight Foam Fly Box (medium 5 by 3¼ by 1⅛ inches, large 6¼ by 3¾ by 1¼ inches, magnetic closure, floats) and Horace Silver's Song for My Father both fit a $50 to $100 budget only when paired with another item. For example, the fly box plus Blue Train is about $72, using the quoted lower price.

Last-Minute Options

Blue Note Store digital gift card ($50, $75 or $100). Digital delivery. This is the fastest option I verified.
Orvis gift cards. The Orvis gift card page lists three cards in a "$50 to $99.99" filter bracket. I did not confirm exact denominations or delivery method, so check before relying on it.
Local pickup: The Orvis store locator exists, and the Orvis site says its stores stock gear, but I did not confirm in-store stock of any item above.

Orvis one-day fly fishing school (about $339). The school listing shows $339 per person for a one-day school at Millbrook, New York. Other schools on the school page ranged from $339 up to $389 and more. All are over budget.

Gaps and Safety

Reviews: Only the Orvis sling pack showed a usable rating (4.5 from 83 reviews); the other Orvis items showed none, and most other pages had none either. I did not check Reddit, Wirecutter, or Trustpilot, so I cannot report independent testing for any pick. Treat fit as my judgment, not a tested fact.
Recalls: None of these are children's products, and none are electronics or food. I did not run a CPSC recall search, as it did not seem relevant to this list.
Delivery windows: Few pages stated one. Order early and check the cart.
